Good thing that it is sturdy. I still think it looks very much homemade with colors a bit off, the hinge looks like a normal piano hinge and the design just looks like something you could make yourself with some wood and leather. For me this doesn’t look like a serious alternative to a commercial product and I think it’s strange that the author (or editors of teslarati) found it fitting for a review?

Anyway, just my thoughts…

It really is well built and doesn’t at all seem homemade. Ive had my hands on the real tesla front console they sold until recently and its at least as study and well built as that.
